THE Northern Red Sea region which embraces different historic sites and which possesses vast agricultural areas is also believed to be a cradle of human beings and all sorts of civilizations.
While it is the longest of all, Northern Red Sea region ranks second from all regions of Eritrea in its overall geographical area. This region is bordered on the south by Southern Red Sea region, on the west by Anseba, on the south eastern by Southern and Central regions, on the north by Sudan, and on the east vastly by the Red Sea.
