Conte in East Africa and Hysteria of Certain Groups Whose Interests are Affected

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte's visit to Eritrea made certain left groups in Italy angry
Giuseppe Conte traveled to Ethiopia and Eritrea, but someone who has so far supported war and mass exoduses does not take it very well, partly because probably from a framework of political and regional recomposition, they know they have everything to lose. And then also the possibility that public subsidies for publishing can disappear certainly creates some further apprehension …

The visit of Giuseppe Conte in Ethiopia and Eritrea, undoubtedly crowned with success, has aroused the hysterical reaction of many “humanitarian” and “human rights” associations, of the political front connected to them and composed largely, but not exclusively, of the left and above all mainstream media that for years have also benefited from the denigration and de-legitimization of Asmara and many other countries not subject to a certain political, economic or even cultural order (it may also be the case, in other circumstances, of Syria, Iran, Russia, Venezuela, even China or India, and so on). The Scam of Fake Eritrean Refugees Who are Actually Ethiopians

More than 100,000 migrants that reached Italy in the last four years claimed to be Eritreans but many were not. It is found that around 40% are Ethiopians, using fake Eritrean identity to obtain political asylum.

BY FAUSTO BILOSLAVO | VOX NEWS

At the reception centres I have visited in the past year, at least one third of Eritreans are frauds. The majority of them are Ethiopians from the Tigray region, who speak the same language and have similar somatic traits to our own.” Continue reading The Scam of Fake Eritrean Refugees Who are Actually Ethiopians

Italian Prosecutor: Evidence NGOs Colluding with Human Traffickers

WE TOLD YOU SO. Italy should investigate the dubious role of Eritrean regime-change hopefuls cum “human rights activists” in order to get to the bottom of the collusion between charity organizations and human smugglers. Father Mussie Zerai, Meron Estefanos and Elsa Chyrum have, allegedly, a role in serving as a liaison between smugglers and rescuers. Their actions on the trafficking of Eritrean migrants warrants an investigation.

Medicine Sans Frontier’s Selective ‘Testimonies’ : Humanitarian or Political?

Preferred tools of subversion. By making political assertions about Eritrea and its national policies, Medicine Sans Frontier (MSF) goes beyond medicine.

BY SOPHIA TESFAMARIAM

At a time when most of Europe is grappling with its migrant crisis, the headlines on Eritrea are increasingly less acerbic. A report by the Regional Mixed Migration Secretariat (RMMS) of February 9 last month reads:

…While the total number of migrants and refugees arriving in Italy in 2016 hit a record, the number of Eritrean arrivals in Italy decreased significantly in the past year…

Another report also confirms that “the number of people seeking asylum in Switzerland has fallen”. Continue reading Medicine Sans Frontier’s Selective ‘Testimonies’ : Humanitarian or Political?
